I’ve presented at theEvergreen State College Critical Edge Alliance (CEA) Conference in June 2025 and the Washington State’s Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in July 2019. I was also invited to lecture at the International Environmental Humanities Conference: Ecocriticisms in the 21st Century in May 2024. I have published articles and prose in Oak JournalInnersleeve, and Elderly Mag, and was the artist-in-residence at Sou’Wester in the spring of 2020.

I received my B.A. in Philosophy and Literature from Sarah Lawrence College. My essay The Walls of the Mind House was nominated for the 2013 Spencer Barnett Memorial Prize for Excellence in Latin American Studies, and my essay Two Tales of One City was nominated for the 2013 Lipkin Prize in the Humanities. I received her M.S. in Environmental Studies from Evergreen State College (2018), where I focused on studying the power of story, language, and rhetoric within science and conservation.
